Tyler Odell, a baseball player for Upstate University, was discovered dead in his off-campus apartment. Around 12:50 p.m., a maintenance worker discovered his corpse in his Gaffney apartment on Stonecrest Lane.
Limestone University’s Department of Physical Education announced Odell’s death. Tyler Odell was a pitcher for Limestone University’s baseball team. He was a graduate student who also played baseball at Limestone.
Odell is in his fourth year with the Saints after transferring from Mercer County Community College. Odell was also named to All-Conference Carolinas in the academic year 2020, as well as All-Conference Carolinas in the academic year 2019.
